Nearly 70 Groups Call for Robust Congressional Oversight Agenda in 2027
Americans for Financial Reform joined 68 advocacy organizations across policy issues in a letter urging Members of Congress to prepare a strategic and effective oversight agenda for the next Congress. The letter highlights concern across party lines by the public of corruption in government, and calls on Congress to conduct meaningful oversight to expose abuses of power, hold powerful corporate and political actors accountable, and build reforms that improve people’s lives.
