Americans for Financial Reform along with labor, tax, consumer, and other allies wrote to express opposition to H.R. 10357, the Digital Asset Tax Certainty Act, ahead of the bill’s consideration by the House Ways and Means Committee. This legislation includes special tax benefits and loopholes for digital assets, and fails to achieve its purported goal of establishing clarity and parity for digital asset taxation.
