AFREF and Public Citizen were joined by Consumer Watchdog, Sierra Club California, and the former California Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones in writing to the California Air Resources Board, urging the Board to remove its unjustified exemption for insurance companies from greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting, and to set clear standards requiring all companies to account for and report their complete GHG inventories without loopholes.
