Tell the Senate to VOTE NO on the reconciliation bill

The budget reconciliation bill slashes support and raises prices for low-income and working-class families while giving tax cuts to billionaires and corporations.

It includes huge cuts to:

  • Medicaid, leaving millions of people, including children, veterans, Black and Brown people, and people with disabilities, without coverage and increasing medical debt;
  • SNAP. The 30% proposed cut would be the largest in the history of the program and make it harder for the most vulnerable families and low-income people to put food on the table;
  • Student financial aid, leading to higher student loan bills and greater disparity, and;
  • Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Proposes to significantly reduce the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s independent funding. This is an existential threat to the future of a robust CFPB that can protect people from scams, rip-offs, and discrimination from big banks, Big Tech, and fringe financial firms.
