Elyse Hicks Discussed the Importance of a Strong CFPB at the Center for American Progress’ Event
We are thrilled to announce that last week, our Consumer Policy Analyst, Elyse Hicks was a panelist during the Center for American Progress (CAP) conversation on the importance of an independent Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Joined by Executive Director of CAP, Mike Piece as well as President and CEO of Democracy Forward, Skye Perryman, with remarks by Senator Warren.
The event was focused on the continued importance of the CFPB along with the threats to consumers, markets, and other similarly funded agencies if the Supreme Court rules the CFPB’s funding mechanism unconstitutional.
