A Decade after Dodd-Frank: What Next?
Building a Just Financial System
Ten years ago this month, Congress passed, and President Obama signed into law the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act in response to the financial crisis and the Great Recession of 2007 and 2008.
To mark the occasion Americans for Financial Reform will host a series of virtual events asking what we have learned, and what changes we think are needed now to protect consumers, uproot systemic racism, and transform finance so that it contributes to a resilient, equitable and sustainable economy.
The virtual series will feature keynote conversations or remarks by members of Congress and distinguished leaders, followed by panel discussions.
