Advocates Urge Senator Brown to Bring Financial Reform Over the Finish Line and Voice His Support for Wall Street Reform
Boston, MA— On Monday, Massachusetts residents will press Senator Brown to get financial reform across the finish line and take home the gold medal for Main Street. Senator Brown remains uncommitted to standing up for Massachusetts consumers and has not yet said whether he will support Wall Street reform legislation pending in the Senate. The Senator said that he would review the bill over the July 4th recess, but has not yet committed to voting for the legislation.
Senator Brown is a champion long-distance runner and triathlete. Now is the time for him to bring financial reform over the finish line. We need him to run with Main Street consumers and not Wall Street titans and support final passage of Wall Street reform.
WHO: Members of the MA delegation of Americans for Financial Reform
WHEN: 11:00 am, Monday, July 12
WHERE: 672 Boylston Street, at the Boston Marathon Finish Line, near Copley Square
