AFR is seeking an intern to work with our small and committed staff. No salary, alas – just a $10-a-day expense stipend. Plus valuable, stimulating, soul-satisfying work, and a crash course in financial policy , advocacy, communications and coalition building.
Job details (depending on applicant skills and interests):
- Researching and fact-checking reports, papers, and statements
- Writing and posting items to our website and social media
- Helping organize and manage media and Capitol Hill events
- Coordinating with public-interest allies
AFR is located at 1629 K Street NW in downtown Washington, and a project of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, which works on a wide range of issues.
