Webinar: Increasing Access to Capital for Black-Owned Businesses

AFR and the Main Street Alliance hosted the third webinar in the event series Small Business Needs In The Biden Administration on April 15, 2021. The panel, Increasing Access to Capital for Black Small Businesses, was moderated by AFR Advocacy Director Rion Dennis.

The webinar featured:

  • Leonardo Williams,  small business owner of Zweli’s Kitchen in Durham, NC.
  • Rachel Atkins, an Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow in the Management and Organizations Department at the Stern School of Business.
  • Dafina Williams, Vice President of Public Policy at the Opportunity Finance Network.
  • Brett Theodos, a senior fellow and director of the Community Economic Development Hub at the Urban Institute.
