Today, 51 organizations that advocate on behalf of students, consumers, veterans, civil rights, college access, and more, sent a letter to Acting Education Secretary John King Jr. responding to the Department of Education’s request for comments on its proposed system to track student and borrower complaints. In addition to signing on to the above coalition letter, Americans for Financial Reform submitted its own list of suggestions for how to improve the Department of Education’s proposed complaint system. You can view or download AFR’s letter here.
