There are critically important policy decisions still in play in financial reform, and the policy is being made in an unprecedented way: in televised conference between Senate and House bills. Instead of the conference being the “technical fix”, the conference has become the heart of the debate on the most fundamental structural reforms.

Three policy and political experts will explain what happened in the first week of financial reform conference, what is coming up next week, and which elements of the bill to watch for.
