Voting on the major financial reform package known as the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection act (H.R. 4173) is scheduled to begin as soon as this Wednesday, December 9. Real reform is vital to getting our economy back on track and it is under tremendous attack by Wall Street and the big banks, the same interests that got us into this mess. The Consumer Financial Protection Agency and the regulation of Derivatives are under particularly sharp attack.
