Americans for Financial Reform
invites you to a conference on
Executive Pay and the Dodd-Frank Act
Monday, December 12, 2011
815 16th St., N.W.
New reforms mandated in the Dodd-Frank Act could lead to the most significant changes in Federal oversight of executive pay in a generation. In the financial sector, Section 956 of the Act prohibits excessive bank bonuses that encourage inappropriate risk-taking by financial institutions. Reforms to executive pay more broadly include major new disclosure requirements on pay disparity and new mechanisms for shareholder voice in setting top executive pay. Join us for a discussion of the implementation and possible impact of these changes, as well as the issue of executive pay more generally.
